Dr. John is a great educator. Concepts that previously had been challenging to grasp are simply explained. So grateful!An interesting read. I feel the author could have made the book more readable for lay people. I feel like there is a much simpler way to explain all the concepts. One of those premises: if you can't teach something to a six year old, you can't teach. This is a subject few people know about so needs to be made understandable. Also, as I've been looking around for tuning forks I've found only a few individually sold ones. So I was trying to figure out how to find the seventh fork and, again, using simple language doesn't pull it up on the internet. I consulted the book and used the different words he used to describe the fork it still didn't come up. Even with the brand he suggests, it isn't immediately clear which one is the seventh and how to get it individually, if at all.My point being: I like very straight forward, practical information and this book isn't exactly that. I feel the concepts are sound (no pun intended) and true, but it will take some slogging through to make it workable for myself.Extremely pleased with the entire transaction. Informative & instructive for understanding & practical application.Buying this book means two things first: you acknowledge that we are vibrational beings in a vibrational world. And that you must buy tuning forks with the book for it to reach its-or your purpose. It’s a technical book, requesting all your attention, integrating science (quantum) , all aspect of sound and the notion of an inner source with whom/which you are connected, with resonnance or not.I did not rate it 5 forbecause i was expecting something more easy to read and because, for those who are not yet well into Source and Energy , it does not develop enough of it. In other words this book is a very good teaching book for people who are alredy well into awareness. This is serious stuff requesting practice, not only with the tuning forks. I might not be ready for the forks yet but i nevertheless enjoied read about the path the author followed to reach where he is , not only to become an expert in his field, but higly tuned person.If you're interested in tuning fork therapy, this really is the book you've been waiting for. The Grand Old Man of Tuning Fork-ing, John Beaulieu, gives simple but specific healing protocols for using a wide variety of tuning fork sets. I have almost every tuning fork book out there, and this is the most helpful if you just want simple directions, backed by science, not so much woo-woo, that you can use right now, on yourself or others. Among many other subjects, he includes the story of how he discovered that listening to tuning forks entrains your body systems, the information on nitric oxide production, and how to use the Otto (osteophonic) forks on the body for healing bones and joints, which I've not found anywhere else. This book is straight-forward and simple, but will get you started much faster than the other books I've found, many of which are excellent, but not so easy to actually apply effectively. Thank you John Beaulieu!but after a while you get to the heart of which forks to use for what.sozosoundz has a huge selection of forks and if one is into ear or facial applications there a special feet one may add to the handle that increases sound.excellent non-invasive equipment. one will have to rummage a bit to ascertain if new to the concept, just like this book.Human Tuning is an excellent book for people interested in vibrational medicine and sound healing. 5 stars for good information and clear explanations ... Minus 1 star for bad editing. At least one passage is repeated verbatim in two different chapters and a couple of other similar repetitions. A good editor should have caught these and re-wrote them or cut them.The content is top-notch. I wish the book were longer and covered more material in more detail ... OTOH it is short and easy to read so a good "quick start" for sound healing.Absolutely fantastic book. You can see The passion in his life’s work! Reading this has expanded my consciousness and understanding and I cannot wait to put it into practise. Everything makes do much sense. This book will radiate to you at the right time...lots of insights how to manage healing forks to benefit ones self, enjoyed learning new information about vibrations of sound and its uses, find it difficult to put the book down.Beautiful book. His passion for this subject is spellbinding. This is the best book I have read. To me it contains so much information and inspiration.John Beaulieu does fantastic work in helping one to gain an indepth undrstanding on how sound works...in this book he also gives you great combinations of use for the tuning forks for various conditions..which I have found to be extremly effective as treatments...the book is very informative on how sound works and approaches it from a more scientific way which works for me...I wish he had more books with more combinations in but I do recommend looking into his work as I find him to be the best in this area so far.Arrived quickly..Thank you...Highly recomend for all sound healers.Detailed & helpful - very interesting to read & written in a very easily understood style, whilst still giving a lot of information, both theoretical & practical
