These are cool to have around. These are replacement forks, so they do not come with the lid they fit into. I thought they were good enough that I decided to just throw them in with my camping meal kits. These fold up small enough (about the size of a wide nail clipper) that I will use them as is. The design is nice. The rivet can be a little bit of a food trap, but is much better than other designs I have used. They use a small stopper on the hinges to keep the fork fully extended and it works great for me. I am right handed though, so the way I hold the fork, keeps tension on it and keeps it open. Trying to use it left handed, it would occasionally fold slightly on me. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I don't rely on eating left handed all the time, so your mileage may vary. For a 3 pack this is a pretty good price and I would buy them again
