I see many reviews saying not dishwasher safe so I was really concerned, but amazon has a pretty good return policy and these were the only flatware that everyone agreed on (multi-generation home). As soon as I received them, I put them right in the dishwasher. We do have a newer style basket with separaters. I have since washed them in the dishwasher multiple times and have yet to notice any issues. They aren't scratching or rusting (knock on wood) and seem to come clean really well. Perhaps different styles are made in an alternative way that makes them dishwasher safe? I'm not really sure, but we got the jungle ones and they are adorable. I will update if I ever notice problems.Also, the texture of these are nice and smooth. I was concerned the etching would bother me since I am sensitive to surfaces, but I haven't even noticed. All around, this was a great purchase and I intend to buy more styles. Christmas silverware, here I come!I love this set so much, I had to have 2 of them. I love leopard and own leopard china. you get salad/dessert and entree forks 4 each . didnt actually count. You get 4 teaspoons/soup spoons. and the knife. Greta value and came early.We love looking at the animals AND a very nice weight so they don’t fall off my plate!!Nice price, easily washed, no sharp edges, stands up to dishwasher & looks as lovely as the day of purchase. Thinking of purchasing another set!These are well made yet lightweight utensils. They are really beautiful and the unique color adds to their beauty. They hold up really well and I can't believe the price is so low for this quality utensil.This cutlery set is beautiful to look at, but I'm affraid to use it. There are so many cleaning rules and no mention of a dish washer. You can't leave them in liquid too long, must be dried immediatly and don't scratch the coating on the cutlery. So can I leave a spoon in soup or is that too long in liquid? Can I eat using the knives and forks or will this action cause scratching to the coating? Little confused, but love the look!These are beautiful. Very light but sturdy. Sadly within two months one of the forks is already starting to show signs of rust between the tines. I had been on the search for something very similar for awhile now so it was sad to see this happen so quickly.Wash great in dishwasher. Guests want to know where to purchase them .
