These forks are really small, though they do measure the 5" length as stated. They are very narrow and not suitable for meat carving forks. While not flimsy, they can still be bent by hand, so should not be used to lift anything heavy. I find them OK for flipping bacon, whipping eggs, or using for appetizers, but nothing heavier.Having a little fork sometimes really does come in handy! Neally good for nibbling, or when you have tiny treats and do not want to dirty a bigger fork ...yes, I am that lazy! These are just very average little metal forks, and for the money, that is all they need to be! They are just the right size for little foods. Not much more I can say about them. (I only do not understand why they come in a set of 3... why not 2 or 4?)
